Ryan Mekota, Psy.D.

CLINICAL AND FORENSIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Mekota completed a bachelor's degree in psychology from John Carroll University and a doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) with specialty concentration in neuropsychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. Clinical skills were honed across multiple training experiences in neuropsychology and psychological assessment through the University of Chicago, Jesse Brown VAMC, and the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System. He then developed a neuropsychology clinic within a behavioral health practice before founding Ohio Neuropsych in 2022. Through years of training, mentorship, and work experience, Dr. Mekota has forged his expertise of the human brain and behavior.

Corey Maddox, MA, LICDC-CS

DIRECTOR OF PSYCHOMETRY,
DIRECTOR OF ADDICTION SERVICES

Corey earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Akron. He then completed a master’s degree from Cleveland State University in clinical psychology, during which he obtained internship training in dual diagnosis treatment and neuropsychological assessment. He is independently licensed in chemical dependency and achieved his Clinical Supervisor endorsement in 2022. Corey has extensive experience in providing individual and group treatment. He specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) interventions tailored to meet the needs of each client. Corey also administers and interprets many psychological and neuropsychological measures. He is experienced with assessments of intellectual ability, academic achievement, personality, and neurocognitive functioning.
